Pupils at Blessed John Duckett Catholic Primary School in Tow Law are celebrating after the school's Eco Ambassadors received recognition at the Durham Youth Awards.
The awards, organised by Durham Youth Council, celebrate the achievements of inspiring young people and groups from across the county who have made a positive difference in their communities.
Eco Ambassadors Honoured for Environmental Project
During the summer holidays, representatives from the school were invited to a special celebration event recognising the achievements of young people from across the region.
The school was delighted to receive an award in the group category, recognising the dedication and hard work of the Eco Ambassadors throughout their two-year environmental project.
The award highlights the positive impact the pupils have made through their commitment to raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging others to think about the world around them.
Working Together to Make a Difference
The Eco Ambassadors worked alongside pupils from Tow Law Millennium Primary School as part of the project, helping to promote environmental awareness within their community.
Staff at Blessed John Duckett Catholic Primary School praised the children for their enthusiasm, determination and commitment throughout the initiative.
