UK Parliament Week and School Council Elections
Year 5 and 6 at Blessed John Duckett took part in UK Parliament Week, gaining a deeper understanding of how parliament works and why it plays such an important role in our country. Pupils explored the significance of Budget Day, particularly how decisions made in parliament can impact schools and education. They also discovered that there are 650 Members of Parliament representing communities across the UK.
Forest School Fun
Class 2 at Blessed John Duckett have begun their exciting forest school sessions, making the most of outdoor learning and adventure. Pupils had a wonderful time exploring the forest school area, where they worked together to build dens and discover the joy of nature.
Superhero Multi-Skills Morning
Classes 1 and 2 at Blessed John Duckett enjoyed an unforgettable superhero multi-skills morning filled with energy, fun, and teamwork. The event was led by Thor, the Marvel superhero, who inspired pupils to take part with enthusiasm and confidence.
A Visit from the Police and Ben the Puppy
Class 1 at Blessed John Duckett enjoyed a special visit from Claire, a Community Police Support Officer, who came along with her police dog, Ben. Claire spoke to the pupils about the many different roles within the police force and explained the skills and dedication required to become a dog handler.

Class 1 pupils at Blessed John Duckett School have been diving into the wonders of autumn. As part of their seasonal learning, they discovered the history behind Bonfire Night and why it is celebrated across the UK.
