Our curriculum
At Blessed John Duckett RC Primary School, our curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of our children, in our school, in our area. This encompasses a variety of exciting, first-hand experiences to enable children to acquire appropriate skills, knowledge and understanding preparing them for today’s world. Through the provision of a stimulating environment and extensive school grounds, links within the community and beyond, children will develop to their full potential.
At the heart of our curriculum, and all aspects of school life, we aim to ensure that our children feel loved, as part of a school family, and know that their talents are valued and celebrated. We endeavour to develop within our children, a Faith that will grow, inform their choices and sustain them into adult life.
All aspects of our curriculum is accessible to all children. We strive hard to meet the needs of those pupils with special educational needs, those with disabilities, those who are more able and those with special gifts and talents.
