In Science this week, Class 3 have been learning about living things and their habitats and how the environment can affect wildlife.
Today, we took our learning outside and went on a walk around our local area. The children carefully observed their surroundings, identifying positive features, such as green spaces and plants, as well as negative features that could impact wildlife, including litter and busy roads.
The walk sparked lots of thoughtful discussions and helped the children understand how human actions can affect living things and their habitats. It was a great opportunity to see Science learning brought to life beyond the classroom.
Well done, Class 3, for your excellent observations and care for our environment!
