Over the year, as a school we do lots of trips out to places like Newcastle castle and the Beach. Every term we have a school disco, sometimes we dress up! There's always a tuck shop and activities to do like decorating a biscuit, name the teddy. In the summer term we have a summer fair.
Every class gets a half term at gardening and forest school, my class are Gardening on a Thursday afternoon this half term. We get to do lots of activities like den making, bug hunting, planting and weeding.
At playtimes and lunchtimes we have lots of games out on the yard, like bowling, skipping ropes, footballs, chalk. My favourite is the bowling, it's really fun!
During the year, we do lots of sporting trips. My class have been to tri-golf, frisbee, tennis and a dance festival. These are lots of fun and we all have a great time. Sports Day is coming up soon, it's one of my favourite days. Red team won last year, I wonder who will win this year? We participate in races like egg and spoon, relay and obstacle.
In class, in English we are learning about World War 2. We are reading the story Blitz: one family's story. In Geography we are learning about coasts and seaside. In Maths we are learning all about angles, which I find really fun! We get homework every week, which we get a star for on the star chart. When we get 5 stars we get a prize!
