Pupils at Blessed John Duckett Catholic Primary School in Tow Law, County Durham, are celebrating a fantastic achievement after Year 5 and Year 6 children won the prestigious Creative Mastermind Award in the Market Makers project.

Award for Creativity and Original Thinking

The award recognises the team that produced the most imaginative, innovative, and original product. Class 4 impressed judges with their creative thinking and willingness to explore ideas outside the box, setting them apart from other entries.

Winning the Creative Mastermind Award highlights the pupils’ ability to think independently, solve problems, and bring unique ideas to life.

Teamwork and Determination on Display

Throughout the Market Makers project, the children demonstrated:

Their hard work culminated in a successful Market Day, where they confidently presented their ideas and showcased their products.
